Facebook and It's strategy to success

Facebook and It's strategy to success

The Case is all about how Facebook managed to adapt and meet the changing needs of their consumers by doing changes in their website and the user experience of it.

This Case states that Facebook grew from being one of many college social networks to the leading global hub for a significant percentage of the world to share their lives on and they were able to do that because they are always updating their user experience each year, They have created business pages in their site as we can see today that there is a marketplace now in facebook where we can buy or sell products from people. Aside from that they have also added numerous advertising models in the site. This shows how very vital is adapting your strategy to meet the changing needs of your consumers and the evolution of your business.

What I like about this case is it is able to show how important for businesses to be able to adapt to the need of their consumers and the evolution of their businesses from time to time and how the business has had to change to deal with its own growth because as businesses grow there are changes that needs to be done in order for it to improve and maintain the quality or experience that consumers are getting from it. For example the other social media sites that we have that gives us entertainment. From time to time we see some updates from it that makes the user experience of it more entertaining and much easier to use.

The only thing that I didn't like about this case is it doesn't emphasize more about the said initial model of providing a network for college students on the case.
