AJ Esguerra's Digital Marketing Class Experience


Hi I am AJ Esguerra and I'm here to share my experience so far from my Digital Marketing Class. As I've already mentioned on my last blog, I am currently a 3rd Year College Student  from Gordon College and for this semester I have this subject called Digital Marketing. So what is Digital Marketing? Digital Marketing is an ever evolving and growing being and one that continues to spread its antennas deep into the processes that organizations have lived by for decades. That all sounds very dramatic but the truth is that it is simply aligned with the direction of travel of the modern world.

Digital Marketing is a part of almost every key business decision from product development and pricing through public relations and even recruitment. Digital Marketing is often confused with online marketing. As we moved into the 21st Century most businesses had or were in the final throws of developing a web presence. Email was commonplace and there was technology allowing people to manage this fairly easily.  

So Basically Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses the Internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services.

So how's my experience? So far it's been good because I am able to learn more about Digital Marketing and How it works even though sometimes it's kind of hard to listen because we are in an online class set up and you have to fight boredom and drowsiness with the internet sometimes being slow at the same time but still it is good because of the new knowledge that I am able to get from this class that I'm sure I'll be able to use on my future job.

So far we've tackled about the "4'ps of marketing" which are the Product, Price, Place, and Promotion and the " 3 I Principles of Marketing" which are the Initiate, Iterate, and Integrate. 




As Albert Einstein said "Commit yourself to lifelong learning. The most valuable asset you'll ever have is your mind and what you put into it." The thing that comes to my mind is we should never stop from learning things because what ever happens in our life or what ever things that we might face in the future there are lessons that are attached to it that we can use as an asset at some point in our lives.
